Being Thankful!

Luke is usually in the grow room, I'm usually at the computer in the house.  The other day, he came to me with a huge smile on his face, grabbed my hands, and walked me out to the grow room.  Together we stooped down to our knees and he nodded—he was looking back and forth between me and what he was so excited about.  We both celebrated when I saw it!  This is probably where you'll want to strangle me, because I am not going to tell you what it is that made us both smile.  The point is though, we've been waiting for something special for weeks, and it's finally happening!  What a feeling it was to be filled with such THANKSGIVING, joy, and excitement!  It was a really fun little moment for us!

What's Gone Right!

This is certainly a time of year when thankfulness is in the air.  Everyone around us is getting ready for Thanksgiving.  We're thankful for:

• A bit more down time now that markets are over
• For our Mission Microgreen Mix collaborations with local chefs that’s part of our Farm Fresh Hope initiative
• For a new idea just in time for the holidays!  

Something for Everyone, even if you don't eat veggies!

I think I've mentioned at one time or another that we heat, and cook, primarily with wood.  It's a bit of a labor of love at times, but one of the things we LOVE is getting to see the variations in different pieces of wood! Some pieces are really unique, and so, Luke starting making things out of the wood that's too beautiful to burn. Considering we've already given beautiful cutting boards and charcuterie boards to the majority of our friends and family—and we're still coming across a lot of amazing pieces in our woodpile—we're now emblazoning Luke’s creations with our leaf, and will sell these items at our events and online!  The boards are beautiful, come in a bunch of sizes, shapes, and colors, and we can vouch for that they look LOVELY displaying a tasty mix of fruits, nuts, cheeses, and meats—topped with microgreens, of course!  They'll make PERFECT gifts, and they're on sale now online for local delivery, and to ship!  Click the link below to shop!
