Hi, Luke & Gail here! We’ve just started writing the Back Mountain Microgreens story… and thus far, it’s been GLORIOUS!
Working Together
Luke is a former owner and operator of two restaurants and loves to experiment with awesome, flavorful and saucy recipes in the kitchen. Gail is a former aircraft maintenance technician and loves to troubleshoot and optimize processes and data.
Life brought us together and there have been many ups and downs along our journey: the joy of living on a beautiful homestead with our four boys, lots of chickens and ducks, our dogs—but also many challenges.
For years we tried to come up with a business idea we could embark on together (and potentially pass on to the boys), but what caught the attention of one, the other wasn’t exactly enthused about—and visa-versa.
We were stuck, for a looooooooong time!

In business (and in life), do overs aren’t always an option. Decisions stack up and consequences loom—sometimes for years—or even a lifetime.
Life has thrown us some curve balls, but Back Mountain Microgreens is our “do over.”

This time around we are aiming to get it right—from the products we offer to the way we conduct business, to the opportunities we’re creating in the future.
