What are microgreens?
Microgreens are a young form of your favorite vegetables leaves.
Instead of waiting for crops to reach maturity, we harvest soon after germination—between the first and second set of leaves, called cotyledons.
A seed takes anywhere between one and six weeks to reach the "microgreen" stage of growth, depending on the seed variety.

If We're Shipping Your Order
We typically tender orders to FedEx/UPS on Thursday afternoons each week for Friday AM deliveries.
Custom Delivery Requests
We do our best to accomodate special delivery requests. As always, the sooner you get in touch to arrange one-time orders or custom delivery requests, the better!
Deviations from the Norm
We try and stick to standardized schedules for deliveries and shipments, but sometimes the weather and holidays require us to shake things up for the week. In instances where our schedule is different than what's stated above, we'll be in touch via text to request info from you to customize deliveries as needed.
Why Do I Need a Cooler?
If we're fulfilling your order via FREE Local Delivery, delivery times change based on how busy our routes are.
We request you leave out a cooler so we have a place to leave your order. This helps us reduce hiccups—like if you're not home, in a meeting, or otherwise indisposed 😉.
When you get your cooler reminder text the night before delivery, feel free to reply at 570-652-8182 with any special notes like gate codes, to tell us to use the back porch, etc. We appreciate your tips on where to find the cooler, especially if you're a new customer!
Am I Eligible for FREE Local Delivery?
If you're in our area (about a 25 mi. radius from Dallas, PA—Zip 18612), you're welcome to free delivery!
Eligibility is determined by each order's shipping address. If your zip is within our local delivery area, you'll automatically see FREE Local Delivery show up during checkout as your "shipping" option.
Do You Ship?
Absolutely!
That said, microgreens and edible flowers require refrigeration.
To ensure you get top quality greens and flowers at peak freshness, we only ship produce in insulated styrofoam coolers, with ice packs, via overnight priority shipping.
Chocolates and merch may ship separately and do not require priority overnight service to ship.
If you'd like a customized shipping quote, get in touch via email or text, we're happy to help!

How long do microgreens last?
We aim to deliver microgreens and edible flowers to our customers the day of, or the day following harvest. This means you're getting the absolute freshest produce possible.
Microgreens and flowers need to be refrigerated once they're harvested, so be sure to keep your clamshells in a refrigerator. As long as your greens and flowers are refrigerated, they'll be good to go for quite some time.
PRO TIP: Keep greens and flowers away from the blower in your fridge! They're somewhat delicate and the repeated blasts of cold air from a blower will degrade them prematurely. A crisper drawer in your fridge at home, or anywhere away from the blower in a commercial walk-in, is best. Flowers typically stay fresh for at least a week (although if you remove the petals they'll last even longer!). Micros will last anywhere from 10 days to a couple of weeks, depending on how they're stored. Each clamshell is stamped with the harvest date, and we always recommend that you use your judgement before adding them to your meal!
How do I use microgreens?
Think of microgreens like any other fresh veggie or herb you'd buy at the store, or pick up from a farmers' market.
Always keep in mind:
- Microgreens must be refrigerated.
- Microgreens are farm fresh produce and must be well rinsed before use.
Once you've rinsed your fresh microgreens, add them to any meal the same way you'd add lettuce, kale, or similar greens. They're best fresh in smoothies, as a salad or sandwich topper, and they can even be prepared with light heat or added to a warm dish right before serving. Keep in mind, when heating, greens may wilt, so if you prefer to sauté your greens, do it over light heat, quickly, and with a hearty green like sunflower.
Is there an order cutoff time each week?
Merch + Chocolates
If your order contains only merchandise and/or chocolates, in stock items will be added to our usual FREE Local Delivery routes, or may ship the business day following order receipt if not local. Out of stock items may drop ship or be added to our FREE Local Delivery routes once they become available.
Microgreens + Edible Flowers
Ideally, we aim to have all orders in by Wednesday—so we know what and how to package crops during Thursday's harvest. Without a subscription, product availability is first-come, first-served.
Practically, we cutoff orders when we run out of inventory, and/or once your area's delivery day arrives.
