By pledging a chunk of our revenue to nonprofits, like CEO's Weinberg Food Bank, we wear our heart on our sleeve.  Someone once asked, if we were all to immediately disappear off the face of the Earth, our priorities would be evident based on the lines written in our checkbook register.  That question is something that rested pretty heavily on Gail's heart and so it's important that Back Mountain Microgreens financial statements reflect Luke's and Gail's values.  We hope that sharing our journey inspires others to get behind what we want to see in our local small business community, neighbors supporting mission-driven agriculture that benefits other local businesses and people.
