ANNOUNCEMENT: Farm Fresh Hope's First Collaboration!
People Matter
Earlier this year while at a pop-up market at a local coffee shop, a gentleman's face seemed a bit familiar to me, but I just wasn't sure if he was who I thought he was. He recognized me, called out "Gail!" and instantly we went back in time quite a few years! We chatted it up about the good old days at our former jobs where we saw each other every once in a while. Those days were before life threw us both some crazy curve balls. Despite the heart breaking circumstances like house fires, grave illness, divorce, etc., we smiled throughout the conversation. He didn't buy microgreens, and I couldn't have cared less. It was great to see an old friend, and the moment was worth far more than a sale that can be assigned a few dollars' value. The joy this conversation brought me illustrates what we consider "customer service" here at Back Mountain Microgreens. It's not about microgreens, it's about people! People are what we value, and it’s an added bonus when our people just so happen to be in the market for microgreens!
Relationships Matter
Our commitment to nurturing relationships with our customers is not just a business strategy—it's personal! Creating and maintaining relationships is how we serve you. Inside our business, and outside of it, we're better together. Together we can grow through our interactions. You, as an individual. Your business. Our business. Our local community. We can ALL move forward together—one tasty, nutritious meal, or one stunningly beautiful plate at a time! And, when we continue to work together over time, small things become big things, and that's what we're after!
Farm Fresh Hope's First Collaboration!
So, where does all this people matter, relationships matter stuff get us? Well, we're super excited to announce a collaboration that brings the best of our customers and our relationships with them into the spotlight. We're starting with Executive Chef Kim McLendon and have been working with her on her very own Mission Microgreen Mix! On November 1st Chef Kim's mix will go on sale both online, and in our retail spot at The Lands at Hillside Farms. Luke and I recently had a great time when Chef Kim and her husband Gary visited our grow room, and we are looking forward to sitting in on Chef Kim's November 2nd episode of The Cooking Show—where her very own Mission Microgreen Mix from Back Mountain Microgreens will be featured! To showcase exactly what can happen when we prioritize our customers, and leverage our relationships with them, we're looking forward to cutting a check to Chef Kim's selected charity—CEO's Weinberg Food Bank—in January of 2025 after sales conclude (with the last deliveries going out on December 27th, 2024).
We're asking YOU to come along side us—me, Luke, Chef Kim, and Gary—to take the sales numbers of Chef Kim’s Mission Microgreen Mix to the moon. We need your support to make this mix a success! Click the button below to get on the wait list and I’ll get in touch as soon as the mix is ready for delivery!
Yes, add me to the wait list!
Not ready to order?
Don't want to commit to an order? No problem... we got you! I do this thing where I get in touch periodically via text to touch base with customers that order every once in a while. Swap your mobile number for a one-time, 25% discount code here, and tell me how often to get in touch: weekly, every 2 weeks, or once a month. I'll text you on Wednesday with a sort of last-call-for-a-Friday-delivery reminder. If you'd like some microgreens... let me know which ones and how many. If you're not feelin' it, swipe left and delete the text—no hurt feelings!
