If you have ever placed an order and wondered when it will actually arrive, you are not alone. This is one of the most practical questions we get, and the answer makes more sense once you understand our weekly harvest rhythm. Because we grow fresh microgreens and edible flowers to order, timing is tied closely to harvest day, delivery routes, and whether your order is going out locally or via a shipping carrier.
When Will I Get My Order? Delivery, Shipping & Timing FAQ
How Our Weekly Harvest Schedule Affects Your Order
We follow a steady weekly production rhythm. We harvest microgreens and edible flowers on Thursday mornings, then begin local deliveries on Thursday afternoons and continue deliveries through Friday depending on route and location.
That means your delivery, or shipment, timing is not random. It is connected to when the crops are ready, when we harvest, and on what day your area is scheduled for deliveries. For these reasons, we do not have fresh produce available for pick up at our farm. Instead, we grow all of all of our crops according to our production schedule—so they're as fresh as possible when you get them!
When Local Delivery Orders Usually Arrive
If your order qualifies for local delivery, it will usually be delivered on the next route day for your area after harvest.
In general, Back Mountain, Falls, and Tunkhannock deliveries go out on Thursday afternoons. Clarks Summit, Scranton, Spring Brook Township, Pittston, West Pittston, Wilkes-Barre, Mountain Top, Nanticoke, and Kingston deliveries typically go out on Fridays.
If you order earlier in the week, especially on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, it is much easier for us to plan harvest quantities and packaging for your order. That helps the whole process run more smoothly.
When Shipped Orders Go Out — and What Ships Separately
If your order is being shipped, fresh microgreens and edible flowers typically leave the grow room on Thursday afternoons for Friday delivery.
Because these products are perishable, they do not ship the same way as everything else. Micros and flowers ship in insulated coolers via air shipment the same day as harvest so they arrive in the best possible condition. Shipping isn't cheap, but we can always custom quote shipping, so get in touch any time for help!
Other items may follow a different schedule:
- Merchandise is drop shipped according to the printer’s timeline.
- Chocolates usually ship on the next business day once stock is available, and
- Local chocolate deliveries still follow our usual Thursday and Friday route schedule.
Are You Eligible for Local Delivery?
Local delivery eligibility is based on your shipping address at checkout. If your zip code is in our current service area, you should see Local Delivery appear as a shipping option during checkout — keep in mind you may need to select this option over FedEx or UPS.
If you do not see the Local Delivery option, please don't assume the answer is no. Our routes expand, and we may simply need to add your zip code. If you're unsure, the best next step is to reach out and ask.
What To Know About Order Cutoffs, Special Requests, and Holiday Changes
For fresh microgreens and edible flowers, we ideally like orders placed by Wednesday afternoon so we can plan Thursday’s harvest well. In real life, cutoffs may depend on inventory and how close we are to your route day.
We do our best to accommodate special requests, but custom timing works best with advance notice. Weather, holidays, and other unusual weeks can also change the normal flow. When that happens, we communicate directly with you so you know what to expect.
Need Help Planning Your Order?
If you're not sure whether you qualify for local delivery, need help with shipping, or want to ask about timing for a specific order, reach out before Wednesday if at all possible. That gives us the best chance of helping you get what you need before you need it!
