Batch No. 7 builds on the same clean, five-ingredient base as our original Batch No. 1 Leaflets: cacao paste, cacao butter, local raw honey, broccoli microgreen powder, and natural sea salt. The addition is course crunchy coffee beans, gently folded into our base recipe, to give each piece an unmistakable depth of a deep, dark roast.

Why Coffee Beans?

Dark chocolate and coffee share many of the same flavor compounds, which is why the pairing feels so natural. The roasted coffee beans seem to round out the chocolate's intensity, letting the honey and cacao butter come forward in a way that just clicks. Each bite shifts between smooth, melting chocolate and the satisfying crunch of ground coffee—in fact, people who find our original Batch No. 1 too bitter say Batch No. 7 tastes slightly sweeter, even though the base recipe is identical and there is no added sweetener.

The honey is locally sourced, the broccoli microgreen powder is grown and processed in-house at our farm, and the cacao is sourced from a supplier we know by name.
