The Heartfelt Journey Behind Souper Girl Mission Microgreen Mix

Hello, Gail here to share more info that’s as sweet, tangy, and nutty as our current Mission Microgreens Mix itself. Yep, I'm talkin' about our collaboration on the Souper Girl Mix—crafted not just as a culinary delight but as a beacon of hope for those in need and for local farmers as well.

Every radish leaf, cantaloupe shoot, and sunflower shoot in the Souper Girl Mix is packed with purpose beyond its vibrant flavors. Working with Lynn, the culinary sage at Throop Soups, opened a door for us to highlight her great personality and craft a mix that mirrors her fun-loving spirit—a little sweet, a bit tangy, and delightfully nutty.  😂 

Even more so, we’re here to make a positive impact for those locally affected by food insecurity. Through this Farm Fresh Hope collaboration, we're allocating 20% of every purchase of Lynn's Souper Girl mix to empower local farmers and provide nutritious options for those who need it most via a donation to Lynn's selected charity—Food Dignity Movement—in early March.

Working with Lynn and her selection of Food Dignity Movement as her charity of choice is a great connection—one that spoke deeply to our hearts!  We didn't know it when we first set out with this collaboration, but Clancy at Food Dignity let us know that Food Dignity is all about, "Connecting local people to local farmers."   Helping those in need is one thing, but building up local farmers while doing it spoke to us for obvious reasons.  It was heart-warming to hear Clancy describe a fifth-generation farmer who managed to stay open year-round for the second consecutive year, after 60 years of farming, because of Food Dignity's demand from their farm.
